I've given Mayo plenty of credit, I tipped them to reach the All-I Final this time last year when everyone was writing them off. Bottom line is though, so far they've failed to look anything like All-I winners. Which is what depresses me most about the two crushing narrow defeats that we have sustained against them, simple as that
We've got the winners of Kildare & Meath first up, for what it's worth. And no competative match for 2 months before it, and no real confidence. We are a team there for the taking after this League flop

thats eight years in a row now rashers that ye have missed out on the play offs, thats a pretty telling statistic.
kildare or meath will be big test for ye alright,i've always enjoyed the intensity of dublin v meath or kildare in a packed croker, always a great occasion when all three teams are condenders.

All we need is to persuade the GAC to change the games to a 65-minute first half

I too backed Mayo from an early stage last year and see no reason not to back them this year. In fact I believe that they could go all the way. Experienced group of players with a manager who has done it all before.
A small bit off with my Donegal/Limerick and Mayo/Dublin predictions.
I'l try again for next round :-
Dún na nGall v Fear Manach - Dún na nGall Baile Átha Cliath v Ciarraí - Ciarraí by a couple Tír Eoghain v Maigh Eo - Tír Eoghain but interesting to see how Maigh Eo cope with Tyrone tactics Corcaigh v Luimneach - Corcaigh
Gaillimh v An Dún - Gaillimh Cill Dara v Laois - Laois Doire v An Lú - Doire Ard Mhacha v An Iarmhí - A draw

Say nothing Rashers, cos come late summer it might be all ye have too! Beating Cork in the hurling, hmmmmmmmmmmmm, that might be interesting. Still, what with yis being in decline and all, would be a bit hollow Actually we're gunning for Babs & Tipp, he said some pretty smarmy comments about Dub hurling

Shur who'd listen to Babs? Decline? I'd say they are only resting to regroup.

I expect Mayo and Donegal to prevail. Mayo have an excellent Under 21 team again this year. Sooner rather than SAM will head to Mayo.

And so you were correct, Kildare pushed Donegal a little closer than i expected. Should be a good final, I remember Mayo winning the league a few years back, what about Donegal? When did they win it last?
