He has also played rugby, so maybe that would impress you genuine Munster egg-chasing fans

I worked with a lad called Ger Brennan about 10 years ago............... from Finglas............... a soccer fan but...........used to follow the dubs for 2/3 matches during the summer............... i wonder could it be him. He'd be bout 36 now.

babs v ger should be interesting tomorrow in the NHL game.
The remaining 3 rounds of the NFL games should be fairly competitive with all the relegation issues at stake.
armagh v down might be sparky enough.

Agreed, not a good weekend for punters, too many games that are very tight to call, or are local rivalries that can be notoriously unreliable regarding form. Also you have to take into account counties with players missing due to club action - especially Armagh

Big big win for Mayo, in a game that was a must for Cork. Good signs so far from mayo this year. So it's Kerry & Mayo favourites for the play-offs, along with Donegal, then Dublin with an outside chance. All the remaining matches are big games, so it could really take off - Donegal & Dublin have to play both Kerry & Mayo. Tyrone have to play Kerry I think, but they dont look a serious threat in this League now.

Donegal surely through, Mayo in pole position for the second spot. The game in Castlebar next week will be a really big clash, especially with last year's semi-final still fresh in the mind! That game will tell us alot about whetehr Dublin can beat a top team in a big game If Dublin were to win that, then the last game in Parnell Park could be a real cup final. Kerry-Tyrone now takes on extra significance, as both teams can finish with 10 points. Galway really put Westmeath in their place - is this finally a sign of the long-expected revival in the West? Div 1B is anyone's guess at this stage. Armagh will be a force when their Cross lads and injured lads are back

Dublin fade away in second half and lose by a point to resurgent Mayo - sound familiar?

Depressing stuff. Another year of being less than second best. The great tradition is fading fast.......
