A draw will do for Kerry to avoid finishing in the bottom four.
Presumably it will be on in Parnell Park.
Cooper and Brosnan will be well and truly fed up......... will they have any appetite for this.
Mayo have nothing to play for against Tyrone so Tyrone may win that and stay up. That leaves either Dublin or Kerry to be relegated.

It's interesting looking at the table that Kerry, Tyrone & Fermanagh are bottom of the goal scoring charts with only 2 goals each scored - Donegal have 9!

any ideas for sundays team.
murphy,
marc,tom,aidan
tomas,eamonn fitz,tommy.
dara,eoin.
sheehan,gooch,galvin
quill,quirke,mfr.
it would be interesting to see would quill and mfr find themselves in better scoring positions on the end of colms passes, also could colm bring someone like quirke into play,if not stop wasting the lads time.
i couldnt see dublin outscoring kerry with the above defence.

Interesting choice Kerryman but I cant see Cooper on the 40 and I dont think Quirke will be starting. You omitted Sean Sullivan and Donnach Walsh from the line out. I think you will see one of them starting

From his display against Tyrone no way will Griffin be in the half back line. He was destroyed. For me Scanlon is a starter at Midfield was very very good there when moved out against Tyrone. As for E. Fitz he is really being dicked around. Put in full forward last day was a joke and v insulting to such a fine centre back and fine general kerry football servant. he did not look happy when sub'd the last evening. Dont see any harm in him being tried for some spell against dub in at centre back. But i would say Aidan will be there again. Think Aidan the O'Se's X3 are invaluable to our success this year. Cant see quirke starting and frankly dont think he is any good at all. I'd Stick Dec Sull in for a while tell him to stay put and conserve his energy. Flanked by MFR and Gooch Def Sean Sull for wing forward instead of sheehan and Bros centre along with galvin on the other wing. Murphy marc tom reidy tomas E.Fitz Aidan dara scanlon sean sull bros galvin gooch dec sull MFR.

thats a strong kerry team pony, they proberly will be looking to get their strongest out for this one.
reidy concerns me in the corner, mcfadden skinned him very easily in letterkenny for two early points.
i wonder what kind of shape declan is in?

Kerry will put out the strongest possible team. Pony, I can't see Quill being dropped. He has played all the league games and he has done well. The lad would surely pack it in again if he got dropped as soon as the gooch came back.
I would like to see Marc Tom Reidy
Tomas Fitz Mahoney
Dara Scanlon
Sean Sull Brosnan Galvin
Quill Gooch MFR
Scanlon did enough the last day in the second half to get a start. I have a feeling that Tommy Griffin could be out with a hammer. I would love to see Gooch orchestrating things from 14 and moving in and out to create space.
However, i think that Pat O'Shea will not pick Fitz at 6 and go with Lyons or Guiney on the wing. I also think he could pick Brosnan at 14 and play him in the Crokes role supplementing midfield.

You would wonder how the likes of Quirke keeps going after what happened last weekend. He really has got a raw deal. Remember he was asked back in to train. You would think they saw something in him and would give him a chance. Why bother otherwise.

with galvin, dec, brosie and gooch available again i'd imagine fitz might be feeling the same if he doesnt get a game at centre back v the dubs.

Well folks, after a long winter of boozin I'm well and truly back, championship around the corner now so I have to go into hard training - Paudie trained me that way!!
On Sundays game I think Kerry will edge it slightly. They will have a better scoring attack with Gooch restored and also the return of Dec will be an added boost. Kerry by 3 pts for me.
Then its into the hard training!!

On the assumption that Killian Young is still injured and Eoin Brosnan/Gooch needs to give the injury more time/rest, the team I'd like to see is
D.Murphy M.O'Se T O'Sulliivan P.Reidy T O'Se E.Fitzmaurice A.O'Mahony D O'Se M.Quirke P.Galvin Declan O'Sullivan S O'Sullivan D.Quill D.Walsh Darren O'Sullivan
For me its a real test to see of Padraig Reidy and Declan Quill in particular can build on what they've achieved already...very important in my opinion for those two to have good games on Sunday. Mike Quirke deserves a run and might take his chance....people can argue over the amount of chances hes got at full-forward in the past but rarely tried at mid-field and might be an option.
I'd like to see Donnacha at full forward just to see how that might work out...if its not tried, we'll never know!
