in my humble opinion mickmack the ulster, connacht, leinster hurling championships, the connacht and munster football championships have become out dated and irelevant.
20 odd thousand people turning up for the drawn and replayed munster football finals back this up.
the championship doent really begin till august for kerry, mayo, galway, cork, something similar for some of the hurling main condenders.
does it make any sence that most of these counties will pay out the guts of 800k training teams for a season with huge pockets of inactivity.
i posted up a sugestion for tidying up the the season earlier in the year but it got no comment,i must try and find it again later.
if i'm right dublin and kerry have no competive game for 2 to 3 months now.
to answer your question, its makes no difference who wins the munster football championship.

Cluxton is one of the best keepers in modern times. I thought his kickouts were spot on. Trying to reach a player free willing and able to gain possession was his problem the last day. Lay off Cluxton. Magee Whelan and the others were played out of it simple as that. One thing I would suggest to Cluxton though is when Gooch is in town stay on the F...en line and pray, pray hard. Yes, we should all do that, all give praise and bow down to his Goochness. Hard to see Kerry being resisted by the best of the rest at this stage Kerry07, too many true greats who can devastate the limited opposition on their own

For me........ no matter how good or bad either team is at any moment in time........... Dublin v Kerry is the ultimate OLD FIRM game. Both teams invariably concentrate on playing football when they meet each other. Maybe its my age...... having grown up with Mullins, Power, Sheehy, Keaveney, Bomber etc A very venerable point there old timer. The new generation cant hold a candle to the old crinklies. Both teams also seem to invariably concentrate on playing out the ritual of Kerry winning, which is one aspect that no doubt fuels & enhances you're nostalgic love of these annual events
