mickmack - Mayo play Tyrone in the final match. Anyone, got any ideas who will or who should play at full forward for Kerry next Saturday night?

Quirke should get another shot at it in my opinion.

Quirke has been given more chances than Wayne McCullogh, and I honestly believe, while a very dedicated player, he isn't made out for this Kerry team.....time to give up on that project me suggests.

This?? news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/northern_ireland/gaelic_games/6502165.stmMcGuigan suffers injury setback Brian McGuigan is set to be sidelined for a further six to eight weeks after undergoing an operation to remedy a complication to his double leg break. The Ardboe player had been nearing full pace in training but had to have keyhole surgery on an ankle problem related to the fractures on Friday. The centre half forward now faces a race to be fit for Tyrone's Ulster SFC opener against Fermanagh on 20 May. McGuigan turned out for his club against Dromore at the end of February. Defender Conor Gormley is likely to be available for Saturday night's crunch tie with Kerry in Tralee after a staved thumb forced him to miss the weekend win over Limerick. Goalkeeper John Devine is still missing with a shoulder injury but Ciaran Gourley and Colin Holmes are both back in full training after long-term injuries. Philip Jordan returned to light training last Thursday following a double hernia operation and Cormac McGinley has overcome a calf problem sustained in the league defeat by Donegal. Under-21 players Raymond Mulgrew, Colm Cavanagh, Damien McCaul and Cathal McCarron are all in the running to face Kerry.

Kerry team: taken from Setanta website
Kerry team has been named Kerry have made three personnel changes from the team that lost in Donegal ahead of Saturday evening's Allianz National Football League Division 1A game in Tralee.
The injury Kieran Donaghy picked up rules him out, so Eamonn Fitzmaurice comes into the forward line at number 11.
Seamus Scanlon switches from centre forward to 14, while Paul Galvin takes Donncha Walsh's place at left wing forward.
In defence, Austin Stacks' Daniel Bohan starts at left wing back, taking the place of Padraig Reidy, who switches to four, with Mossie Lyons on the bench.
KERRY:: D Murphy; M O Se, T O'Sullivan, P Reidy; T O Se, A O'Mahony, D Bohan; D O Se, T Griffin; B Sheehan, E Fitzmaurice, P Galvin; D Quill, S Scanlon, MF Russell.

Don't like the look of that forward line. Where will the scores come from? There is a lot of responsibility on MFR and Quill as Fitzy, scanlon, sheehan (from play) will not give us much scoring wise. Is there a hint of panic in playing Galvin who is just off the plane? He cannot be phyiscally or match fit.

Whats the story with Killian Young? Anyone think he's worth his place? (I've been up to my eyes so have completely taken my eye off the ball).
I'm not a fan of Fitzmaurice on the 40. I've no problem with Galvin playing.
Shame about McGuigan, the man deserves better.

i think you will see young on and off through out the year. I not worried about Galvin. He always keeps himself in good shape. Eamon I Prefere for the half back line but he is strong enough for the 40.
