It is hard to know isn't it? I mean we've a lot of players to pick from and I think ye have said as a county we can be cocky. So you would think we should thing we were destined to win the All Ireland every year. But yet we have a terrible record! Maybe we just were a bit quicker at figuring out there was more to life than football.

you wouldnt heed the cry of the banshee rashers? I'd think it was my landlady coming for the rent. She's from Kerry or Tallaght or somewhere like that as well

Just joking about having a landlady, I'd never be that mean.....to Tallaght people! There's a banshee behind the wall in the trees across from my house - that's what the neighbour said anyway, so who am I to doubt it. Owenabue, we shall not allow such a travesty of sport to occur ever again in our fair city. Green, gold & red all back-slapping and secret handshaking up and down O'Connell St - did James Connolly fight for that?? Jaysus two of my friends got engaged, him from Skibbereen, her from Brosna, on the night of the Semi-Final!! I had to spend the night throwing up. This year a sea of blue shall bathe the main street in joy & wonderment, and whoever we play will remain as rivals, healthy rivals

We only had one shoe between the whole family. And that had no lace! Is it true that Kerrymen are more charming, but less honest?

Never have I felt so sickened as the day Kerry lost to Armagh in 2002. I had the week off afterwards to go home for Listowel Races and head on for a few days in London with friends. I didn't eat or sleep properly until the Wednesday I think it was.
Now, the people of a slightly older generation will have had that very gut wrenching feeling after the '82 final.
But if Kerry ever lose to Cork in an All Ireland, I may as well go on a sleep deprevation hunger strike. I can't fathom to think how bad it would be.
I'll put myself on the record as saying that if Beezelbub and Darth Vader were putting together a team against Cork, I'd support the man in the tin hat.
