This thread was up but you could not post to it.
Kerry Team
Murphy
Young Sullivan Marc O Se
Tomas O'Mahony Guiney
Dara Griffin
Walsh Fitzmaurice Sheehan
Quill Donaghy MFR
Now!
Think Donaghy full would work better and with Griffin Midfield
Not a lot of scoring power in the half forward line.
Would like to see if quill and Sheehan can do it from play.
Kerry are up against given how little work they have done.

I honestly hate this rubbish of players getting off after being banned. It makes a farce of the whole disciplinary situation and leaves a real bad taste in the mouth. Also the difference in refereeing standards between Pat McEneaney and the buck in Castlebar the day after was a joke. It was like 2 different sports.
With regard to the kerry team:
I would have picked Sean Sullivan as i believe he is vital to the way kerry want to play with diagonal balls into donaghy.
Fitz on the forty- been there, tried that, did'nt work and won't work again.
Apart from that no real problems.
Anyone see Pat OShea's comment about Donaghy at 14. He did'nt play him there against mayo because he does'nt want teams getting used to him and analyzing the tactic. Amazing how one defeat can destroy your principles!!
Must say the big difference between last sunday and the AI campaign is that last sunday they lads were hoofing big staight ball into quirke where as in croker all the ball was diagonal which gave donaghy the chance to attack it from behind the full back. the straight ball in gives you no chance.

I like the look of the full forward line for tomorrow night. the starting fullward line last sunday just wasn't mobile enough for me.

Seamus, I agree with you totally. I know going into the Munster Final replay I felt, right we might win this one but this will come back to bite us on the arse, which it did.
But in a way, if a player has served the suspension already, why not wipe the slate clean rather then trying to prove he should have been sent off. To be honest I wouldn’t like being a ref if you knew that every sending off will be analyzed and there is a possibility that it will get over turned if the club/county has enough people to argue that you were wrong. Teams/players seem to forget all the times they should have got yellow or red cards and didn’t!
