i have long since said the i thought the provincials were redundant with the back door allowing teams to lose a game and still be in the race for sam except for the provincial winners who are put out the first time they slip up.now dont get me wrong i'm a fan of the backdoor but would rather see it as a secondary competition Well noe Bigmac. Do you still hold this view? Time now for armagh to take the full advantage of the back door seeing as they have suffered most by it since it was introduced. Todays result was ideal for both teams tho i suspect armagh dont see it like that at the moment.. As long as they are playing football in august...... SAM 2 could be on

if donegal beat tyrone, armagh could draw tyrone in the first round of the quailifiers, theres no gaurentees in the qualifiers,it a dangerous road now for armagh especially with ageing players,i dont think i would back them to win through to september.

Do you still hold this view? yes this is still my view but while the present system is in place hopefully we can take advantage of it.cruel way to lose today but thats football and i think we showed that we'll be no walkover's in the backdoor Time now for armagh to take the full advantage of the back door seeing as they have suffered most by it since it was introduced. Todays result was ideal for both teams tho i suspect armagh dont see it like that at the moment.. As long as they are playing football in august...... SAM 2 could be on i stick by my commet but as the backdoors open it would be rude not to use it,after all it work out for some did'nt it

no sour grapes but on todays performance donegal will be goin nowhere this year, they still overplay each attack allways looking for the better man instead of taking responsibility themselves

their forwards were totally closed down by armaghs defensive game plan, the better team lost today, armagh were more controlled on the ball.

However when did you last see Armagh lose a 4 point lead so late on? No one would want Armagh in the qualifiers. Can't see Donegal beating Tryone. Donegal reverted to type today. One thing struck me: What did Hearty say after dropping the ball: He is usually never stuck for something to say. Ask Star!! ;D

Donegal had no top class tall man at 14. No point in taking on armagh or tyrone without one.
Armagh have clarke to come back yet. I genuinely feel that this defeat will suit armagh.
If kerry meet armagh it will be donaghy marking donaghy
