Our own most important score ,would have to be Donaghys goal against armagh then.Totally changed the game at start of second half.

I would nearly agree Dara's run at the start of the second half lay down a marker. Armagh probably were confident going in two points up at half time. That 35 minutes won Kerry the all Ireland with the 3 Ses the most prominent men on the field. Also regarding score of the year Marc's point against Armagh has to be up there with any of them.........

Most important score is Donaghy's. A real turning point.
It gave great momentum.
To be pedantic Dara's run at the start of 2nd half was great but it wasn't a score.
Marc and Tomas both got great points but if I were to pick one single score as a turning point , it would be Donaghy's.
Even if we had won the first game against Cork, we would have been playing Donegal first and that would have presented us with a big test.

tomas dug the deepest,he was having and had a poor year form wise but in the white hot heat of championship football when the need was at its very greatest, tomas grasped out to every bit of his know how and produced a performance that his form allowed him no right to perform to that level. The sign of a truely great great kerry player.

No question it was Star's goal. Remember we went in 1-7 to 1-5 down and were lucky to be that close. On the Luas in no one was confident and to win the second half of that match by 2-10 to 0-5 was to quote a Munster phrase 'Beyond our wildest dreams'. The O'Se's were imperious that day but Star's goal let us believe it could happen. Darren's goal was important too.....we were down to 14 and only 2 point up when he hit the net.

Yeah............. BUT............... if Cork hadnt equalised would Star be at 14. Prior to him going to 14, we were going backwards, sideways and getting nowhere.
Kerrys whole season took after after drawing and then losing to Cork.

The Cork equalisier.
We wouldn't have had to trapse down to Pairc Ui Caoimh, had Declan booed / cheered / jeered / clapped / carried shoulder high off the pitch, Jack would have buried his head further in the sand and we would have been taken apart by Armagh.
End of story.
Without the Cork replay we would not have had Donaghys goal.
