You know something Seamus, I honestly believe you would be better off sitting down instead of booing. Booing will achieve nothing other than make the English believe we're backward and small minded, whether we are or not. Sitting down allows you to make your protest.
Was anything achieved by booing God Save the Queen in Windsor Park in 2003? Only more violence and murder.
Time to move on and accept that we have to let wounds heal.

Ronaldo was a flop in europe to night, surprise surprise. Its astonishing that football people can consider this guy as the best footballer in the world. In a word, a joke.
the lille coach lost the plot after giggs scored a late winner for united and called his players of the pitch.Common sence pervailed and the game restarted.

I agree, I don't think booing is the answer. This is in the past, I know it is still a really sore subject for a lot of people but booing the English National Anthem doesn't change what happened or achieve anything. At some time we have to let the past lie.
MickMack you are right, the English National Anthem was not booed in Lansdowne and if it did get booed in Croker, the GAA crowd would be blamed!
I think a better approach would be to scream our own National Anthem at the top of our voices and show our pride in our own country rather than concentrating on booing another!

What I do find ironic is the same fellas who will be booing the English National Anthem will be shouting for Man Utd or Liverpool the next day, not Irish teams like Cork City or Shamrock Rovers!!

Ah come on lads, think about it, I we didn't boo everyone in a England jersey who would we boo It's been instilled in every Irish person from the day we were bore! We have to be the victims, nobody has it as hard as the Irish!!! I bet at least half the people booing the English Anthem wouldn't even be able to sing the words to Amhrán na bhFiann. I say don't boo the English Anthem but Everyone Sing their heart out for Amhrán na bhFiann!!!!

Someone told me that the IRFU are not using the proper names for the stands, terraces in Croke Park ie Hill 16 is the Northern terrace etc.
Is this true?
If so why would the IRFU do this?
It seems disrespectful to me.

my ticket says DINEEN HILL 16. On the back there is a small map of the ground with the stands etc called Hogan, Cusack, Davin etc. The terrace area on the map is in two parts; Dinnen and Nally.
