Derrymore Strand for me.
Glad to see the GAA in Kerry are facilitating the development of cricket in the kingdom. At least the cricket team qualified for something , unlike the soccer team who rent the facilities now in HQ. There is a cricket club in Tralee you know

Dun Dag (not sure of the spelling) is where Killarney people go on a fine summers day!! Its a short walk from Muckross house on the edge oone of the lakes. Can't remember the name of the particular lake?
It's also a place we used all go when on the lang from the Sem if the day was good enough! The water was always freezing and there was alway the danger of a water rat or two but to us it was as good as any beach!!

Branch, I thought the demense was the spot to go on the lang, it was just across the road from the schools and any fine Wednesday in may/september it was a certainty that after there would be about fifthy games of soccer going on. Anyone that was'nt playing soccer was probably hiding in the ditches smoking fags and watching the young ones from the pres taking in the sun!

The Demense was also a great option!! My mother used to always wonder how I was so tanned!
