Who will be the sharp shooter in this year's All Ireland Football Championship? Ladbrokes have installed Stephen McDonnell as favourite with Kerry duo Colm Cooper and Kieran Donaghy a close second at 10/1.
Ladbrokes Betting Update - All Ireland Football Championship Top Scorer
8/1 Stephen McDonnell 10/1 Colm Cooper 10/1 Kieran Donaghy 12/1 Conor Mortimer 16/1 Mattie Forde 16/1 Brian Farrell 16/1 Declan Quill 16/1 James Masters 20/1 John Doyle 20/1 Brendan Devenney 20/1 Padraig Joyce 20/1 Michael Meehan 20/1 Eoin Brosnan 20/1 Michael Cussen 25/1 Stephen O'Neill 25/1 Benny Coulter 25/1 Paddy Bradley 25/1 Enda Muldoon 33/1 Shane Lennon 33/1 Alan Brogan 33/1 Tomás Quinn 33/1 Niall McNamee 33/1 Ger Heneghan 33/1 Oisín McConville 40/1 Brian Kavanagh 40/1 Dessie Dolan 40/1 Denis Glennon 40/1 Jason Reilly 40/1 Darren Horan 40/1 Alan Dillon
Not massive value there. Could be someone who comes through the qualifiers. Paddy Bradley?
Is Brian Farrell the guy with glasses from "Today Tonight" he must be a good age now........

Cooper won't kick the same level of frees as others. Conor Mortimer, james masters and devenney look best for me.

Quill at 16s and no sign of Sheehan, the bookies musnt have much hope in him startin either cos i think if sheehan played everygame for us this year he'd be very close to it.Stephen o neill at 25s looks the best value.Strange list is right though.

armagh must be their favourites to win the all-ireland so.
i cant believe sheehan isnt on it.
no tyrone player till 25 to 1 in 6th place, mossy quinn at 33 to 1 in sevent place, strange.
they musnt fancy dublin and tyrones chances of landing sam.

Gooch's score was low last year plus he doesn't kick a lot of frees for Kerry. Conor Mortimer could nearly be relied upon not to score of Mayo get to a final. Stephen McDonnell had a bad year last year as well (by his standards) Its a funnly looking list though.
Rashers will see a conspriracy with Mossy Quinn so low.
Kerry have four on the list and thats not counting MFR or Sheehan.....

I decided I would do a bit of research and last years list looked like this:
1-36 (39) Conor Mortimer (Mayo)
1-29 (32) James Masters (Cork)
1-25 (28) Matty Forde (Wexford)
2-22 (28) Ross Munnelly (Laois)
1-24 (27) B Kavanagh (Longford)
2-20 (26) Paddy Bradley (Derry)
I'm open to correction on it of course! I didn't think Masters would be so high on the list.

That tells us that we used a lot of different forwards last year and that we spread our scores around betwwen all our players, players like aidan, marc and tomas popped up wit 3 or 4points aswell which is always a huge boost to the team.

The best value bet is McConville at 33-1.
He plays for a top side, takes a lot of frees and is handy from play.
Until the Q/F last year he was leading the way.
I actually had a few shillings on him to be top scorer from the start of the championship but unfortunately Armagh got knocked out early ;D

Stephen O'Neill is the best value I've seen for a bet in ages.
Is there something about him I don't know out here in Tingtang land before I lob a few bob on with the Power clan?

study tyrones form and body language first if you plan to invest a substantial amount.
