i think it is shame that shannon ramngers and feale rangers didnt join up for this years county championship, neither team seems to be making any progress over the last few years and would have benifited greatly from a strong north kerry team under the management of an experienced and exceptional motivator such as PATSY "SKIN" O' CONNELL who has taken tarbert from the slums of division 4 to the top of division 3.
What are your views on this matter???

shannon rangers and feale rangers would go a long way in the county championship if together . patrick skinny o'connell would be the right man for the job alright, no better man to motivate you.

Ah my own club man..... The famous Skinny. He was a great player and is a great manager. He has done wonders for the Club,I think that the shannon and feale rangers combo would be huge. Bring it on.

A north kerry team wudnt work at all!tis hard enuf to get 4 or 5 north kerry teams working together not to mind 12 or 13!there wud be war over who starts and who dosnt starts plus there's too much compitetion and hatred between north kerry teams for the players ever to get along!dont think skinny wud be the man for the job either, fair enuf he's done a great job for tarbert but he wud never get away with the roaring and shouting he does to the tarbert players in a north kerry team!if u roared at someone like tomas o rourke or mikey boyle ud get a box in the head!

Piggy. Skinny is a pussy cat... Never roar at the lads.hahah He might shout and roar but it would do no harm. Neither Shannon or feale rangers have made any head way for the last few years and maybe Skinny would be the right man. He takes no crap...

They would have 11 teams, that is too much and should never be allowed. It is not a matter of the teams that are there, the players dont seem to put too much effort into the co. championship, which is the most important competition in the county but seem to be too focussed on there own championship in north Kerry.

Kerryeye I thinks that because of the way the the feale and shannon rangers have been ran. Every other co,championship is south east and mid. Why not a North??? Joining The two is a great idea. Good for North Kerry football....

Its true that there is an east, mid and south but in truth south kerry are the only team that brings in all the teams in the area.Mid kerry only have 4 teams and east kerry only have 5 teams which isnt much as most club teams in east kerry are on their own in county championship.
I think that 11 clubs for nth kerry would be too much.I think that a divisional team should be restricted to 6 or 7 teams at most,if you look at West kerry and brendans this year they are picking from 3 clubs which nearly all in the bottom 3 divisions comin up against the force of 9 clubs in south kerry.

Would it be easier for Isreal and the Palestinians to come together than Feale and Shannon Rangers? !!!

south kerry have only managed to get every one to pull in the same direction 7 or 8 times out of about 120 attempts. Its not an easy thing to do,it wouldnt be a sure thing that a combined north kerry team could do the same.

True,it takes a very special bunch of players to be able to come together for a divisional team and click in the way that sth kerry have,a lot of that is down to the management id say,and we might see a change in fortunes this year for them with the departure of James o sullivan and his selectors.

if your familar with south kerry politics kerryeye, with a change in management they could just as easily all fallout just as easily as they all fell in.

if shannon rangers cant do well with Beale goin well in div2,Tarbert top of div 3,Ballyduff as north kerry champs plus a bunch of former kerry players like colin and martin o mahony, eddie mangan den u might as well thro ur hat at it!Feale rangers wud have the pick of Listowel Finuge and duagh aswell so there's plenty of talent around in both divisional sides only the get everybody on the same wavelenght.it wasnt long ago both sides dominated the county championship!

You'll see Iran and Iraq return to a peaceful Persian state before you see the wedding of Shannon and Feale Rangers.

Agree stacks but something has to be dont to get them going. The talent is there no doubt. Lack the right people for managment. But it would be nice to see them as one.
