Jimmy D, John O'Mahony and Graham Geraghty etc going for the dail, possibly Paudi.........Micky Harte on the news every night this week????? Is he thinking of politics; certainly giving his opinion on alot more than the GAA these days... is this the new type of "influential" county manager using the ever listening meeja to air his views, or is he furthering his potential political career? ie let brazil play in Croke park for charity. Intersesting after he being so against it in the first place

still in fairness brazil in croker to raise funds for suicide aswareness in young people should not be a problen to organise and should not be a issue.
82000 thousand tickets at 50 euro a pop would be a lot of money for a charity.

True I absolutely agree but my point is I've watched the late news almost every night this week and Mickey Harte has been on it for one reason or another. And not much of it has been about Tyrone football. ( Not much to say about that at the moment I suppose!) Is GAA management about a step up to something better these days.......and by the way if is is then fair play. But are they all looking for the next step and the extra buck???

Nothing new in GAA people making the DAIL.............. Jck Lynch, Sean Flanagan, John Wilson, Jimmy Deenihan etc
Great communicators like HARTE and o MAHONEY have a great chance.

If Graham Geraghty wins a seat in MEath I will go out, buy a hat and then eat it.
He doesnt really strike me as the normal type that the Blue Shirts go for

When asked why he had travelled to Kabul to meet with factioning tribal Afghan warlords, Irish foreign minister Graham Geraghty said, "Well, having an All Ireland medal, I felt I could bring stability to the region much like I did during my playing days". In reply, Karazai Ishlin, warlord of the Biahn tribe was heard to mutter "who the f**k is he? Was Pele busy? We'd have been happy with Rivaldo, Zico, Roy of The Rovers even!!".
