Crokes should do ok the next day even if they have never played Moorefield before. Even if they get over them it will take a good team to beat Crossmaglen.

If there s any team capable of beating Cross it mght well be the crokes. They will surely overcome Moorefield although am detecting a bt of over confidence from the crokes fans (for a change!)

Are Ardfert playing Leixlip in the curtain raiser in the semi final of the intermediate championship?

leixlip are a senior side mickmack,it might be confey you mean, there the second club in the same parish,i'm not sure if its them though.
Crokes and moorefield will be interesting,it might be close enough.Morefield are a club that have won 3 or 4 senior championships in the last few years and are battle hardened trained by the former kildare senior sos dowling. They also have a number of kildare seniors, crokes might just shade it,buts thats a tentative prediction.
if crokes go on to win the all-ireland it will show what talent there is in south kerry,Crossmaglen have serious pedrigree though at club level with the bones of their present team holding 3 senior club all-irelands,crokes will have it all to do to win their two games to win another all-ireland.

best wishes to both Dr Crokes and Ardfert for getting this far. Ardfert could pull it off from what I hear and you never know the Crokes have a very talented side.

They always wheel out Noel O'Leary for the league game in winter. The poor bugger always does ok but gets his h*le opened when the summer comes and the ground hardens. I actually like him because he tries his hardest but is limited. Anyone remember the belt fitzmaurice hit him in tralee under lights a couple of years ago. Leary was belting all around him before that and Fitz sickened him with a shoulder which he had to go off after! Worth the €8 alone.

Are ye posting it in the wrong topic so we mightn't see it?! To be fair he did well that last day against Donegal. Although I am surprised Cadogan isn't named on the team.

I tried to post the Cork team in the thread dealing with the Cork game but couldn't do it.
In fairness its the likes of Noel O'Leary and Niall Cahalane and Paul Galvin that make Kerry Cork games.
Of course you have the usual Frank Murphy stroke pulling to make sure Donaghy is suspended. If Frank was any good of a forward Cork would really be elected!!

Frank wasn’t the ref in Mayo the last day. With all this complaining ye sound like a certain Cork man ye don’t particularly like complaining about the ref, the rules and the devil knows what else. Surely ye are good enough to beat Cork without Donaghy??
