Just another comparison of respective positions/players. Barry Cahill has been getting right back to form since returning to his best position, and for me he's a class defender, passer & carrier of the ball. I think he lacks O'Shea's ability to take scores, and looks physically less strong but is deceptive

A former player of the year, and within a vote of being player of the year two years on the trot......there are very few people who can compare with that calibre.

Comparing Bryan Cullen to Tomas o Shea might be a more realistic comparison.
I rate Cullen very highly. In a transfer market the only Dublin players that I would go for are Cullen and Brogan.

I think Cullen could become a great player for us. At least, I expect a big year from him this year. But has Tomas O'Shea often played CHB? It's a very particular position

Hey mrtierneyesq. Still not paying much attention but youll tell me, how did the great Catser fair out on his trip to the sticks? Who did he mark ? Just wondering always keen to hear about up and coming talent u know! Just saw this. I cant remember who I heard he marked in Castlebar 07, and I wasnt there, but what's your point? I never said he was "great", I believe he has great potential. "Up & coming?" He's been in the team for 2 years, try to pay attention. How did T OShea do against Donegal & Dublin in your opinion?

Sorry mrtierneyesq against the Dubs and Donegal he performed ok. Clearly he is recovering from injury. Against Tyrone he made some good runs defensively he was ok ish as far as I can recall. I missed your post there for a while. How are things going in the Smoke, All back training Iam sure. I wish them well ,Champonship is what its all about. In future Ill try to tune in./ Its potential player not up and coming then /I got it I think /potential great potential yes I see player not up and coming ok. 2 years on the Dublin senior panel j..us how could i miss that? Thats embarracing for someone ... d**n!!!
