Mickmack. John Egan was a horse on a man on the field. Rough as they come. He is my all time fav Kerry player.. I really dont think its that NK are less skill full I think that their skill is being hard powerfull players. I would not mistake there grit as being less skillfull, I happen to think Paul Galvin is one of the most skillfull players on they team. Skill is being able to make plays it speaks for itself

Yeah Joan........... but........ and I know you are a proud North Kerry lady.......... but............. i do have a point ....... dont I?
Some famous soccer manager once said that the ideal football team is composed of two groups. One group kicks the ball beautifully and the other group kicks the opposition beautifully.

So do you think that the only skill on the football pitch is kicking the ball over the bar? You are making out that backs have no skill at all like you called them stoppers!!! What about play makers in fairness now like. Who is this guy...

the north kerry championship surely has a small part to play in making the north kerry players harder,u learn fairly lively how to give and take a belt when you play your first ever game in it!imagine playing against the kerry half back line in '97,Breen,Flaherty and Moynihan,if you got past them you'd deserve scoring a point!
