Canty is a good player and has the ability to win an All Ireland. He would make any team. There seems to be the assumption that he has not lost anything while away: maybe he hasn't.
But in saying he deserves to win one its easy to forget that if he does win one the likes of Alan Cronin and Sean O'Brien will win one. Does he deserve one? !!!

Watchdahop, it's fairly unlikely either of those players will be playing for Cork this year.

KG, we have to do something. 10 points per game isn't going to win too many games. Loads of people have been shouting for him to be on the panel for the last few years. He seemed a bit uneasy at first, but did well enough to be fair. It's a bit different to midfield where he plays with his club. I think if you'd Cussen, Master and Goulding or Hayes or O' Connor we should do well enough. Perhaps we would have more options for the half forward line then as well. We'll have to wait and see I suppose. As for Canty, couldn't praise him enough. Joy to watch. But shur he's from Bantry, what would you expect

KG, both teams need to get to the final first! Limerick aren't a bad side really.

Watchdahop, it's fairly unlikely either of those players will be playing for Cork this year. Fair enough but my point was its the ability of your weakest player rather than the strongest player which decides how well you do..... Canty will be good enough its the others who will decide it.

Think we should be a bit stronger this year. After the U21s winning, you'd hope they would add a bit to the team. Fingers crossed and all that.

Don't forget Joe McMahon's brother Justin at wing back. Is Tyrone football like Offaly hurling or what's going on up there? A few families dominating the scene!
