It really doesn't make sense does it? You can see why Micko was giving out so much about it.

Wicklow could do what Fermanagh did in 2004 if they got a run going in the qualifiers. If Wicklow beat Louth and then lose to Wexford do Wicklow get a back door second chance?

If any of the Division 4 teams loose they are straight into the Tommy Murphy Cup unless they loose in their provincial final whereby they get a second chance...but not before that

if 400 or 500 Kerry supporters travel to Waterford then that will be almost as many as urned up last year in Killarney. There was a total of 3000 cash customers in Fitz Stadium last year and a lot of them were from Waterford.

Ok. Lets get back to the job at hand. Team predictions please... Has anyone been in to watch them training? Who'll play midfield? Who'll be No 6? No 11? Anyone making the trip?

gooch, kieran, declan would be an interesting full forward line.
anyone know if kieran is fit to play or will they risk him and keep him under raps for another 4 or 5 weeks?

Yeah that'd be an interesting line alright, you know Star at 14 could be the making of Quill. It'd mean we would not be so reliant on him to win his own ball which can be a problem at times. There are few better finishers in the game.

ya but i think we will need three proven ball winners inside that can win their own ball and score to beat the swarm defence.

From the Irish Independent
Monday May 28 2007
DECLAN Quill's involvement in a weekend club game could signal his absence from Kerry's starting 15 for their Munster SFC opener against Waterford.
Eyebrows were raised in the Kingdom when Quill lined out for Kerins O'Rahillys in a SFL clash with Dr Crokes while county colleagues Micheál Quirke, Colm Cooper and Eoin Brosnan all bypassed the fixture. Quill, who had been one of Kerry's stars in the League, may have to give way to Cooper and Mike Frank Russell at corner-forward next Sunday, while Quirke is a candidate for midfield with Darragh Ó Sé as Tommy Griffin is carrying a knock.
Paul Galvin did not play with his club Finuge on Saturday and is another who must be rated as doubtful to start next Sunday.
