It was great to see Waterford winning. Hopefully it's a sign of things to come.

Well,Kerrygold, I got a few quid off the bookies anyway...5 out of 7, not bad. Wicklow slipped up and may have missed their chance and Mayo left me (and their long suffering supporters) down. Well done Owenabue on predicting a Wicklow/Louth draw....ah but Rashers, 2 out of 7...must do better!

Pity I didn't have a few euro on it isn't it! I'd nearly go with Wicklow for the next day.

Cork must have been mighty impressive because limerick are not that bad and had a reasonable league in Division 1. I have a bad feeling about Munster this year and i fear we could have to come through the back door again.

Mickmack, as I sad before about Cussen, he's only getting used to the position. There wasn't a whole lot of ball went in towards him in the first half. He was better in the second half and moved out more towards the half forward line when Cork made a few changes. I'd be confident enough about him. Pierce O' Neill did well as well in the half forward line. Masters was outstanding. It's kinda hard, if he's on form then a lot will go through him and then you'll have them giving out the other forwards aren't scoring. Can't keep everyone happy. Yer friend Noelie was very good as well yesterday.

Whats the latest on B. Deveanny? He was crucial to them in the league and certainly took our backs to the cleaners that day. his presence / absence could be vital.

And on the Dubs site I had changed from Louth to Wicklow, so a draw was about right, and from Cavan to Down. Who could have predicted Clare under Paidi could be so bad? It's getting harder to predict lately, form doesnt count for much in early provincial championship games........
