I know its early days yet but thought it would be interesting to get some early views of the season ahead? Tyrone are looking pretty impressive already. I was really pushing it with 9 teams on the list! I think the winner will be one of the big three (Kerry, Tyrone & Dublin)!!

Thecritic, not sure I'd put Dublin as one of the big three. Good in Leinster, but that's just big fish, small pond.

I am going for Armagh. Everyone is writing them off but looking at Crossmaglen there seems to be plenty good young fellas coming through. Big Joe is also blooding a lot of new lads with the Cross players missing. If they played Tyrone in the summer there would only be a kick of the ball in it. Recent results between the teams prove that and Armagh might just have the hunger. The game vs Kerry last year was in the melting pot for a long time and Donaghy had the element of surprise. Realistically, there is 4 teams, Kerry, Tyrone, Armagh and Dublin.

I would rate Kerry Tyrone and Armagh above Dublin as the big movers. I am not sure if Kerry will have the hunger of Armagh or Tyrone though this year which could make all the difference. Armagh was Kerry's toughest game last year without doubt. Tyrone look to be back as well. Dublin don't look to be able to challenge the Big 3 just now.

I do apologise if I have confused ye by voting for Cork. But pray tell who else could I vote for? I presume it will probably be Kerry mind you....

I cant see Dublin pushing past Kerry, Tyrone and Armagh in the pecking order for a while yet.

Kerry to beat Tyrone in the final if they avoid each other a long the way.
If the kerry players want it badly enough they will win back to back titles.

If Tyrone get it together again they will be very hard to beat. Kerry will not be far away. Dublin dont look to have unearthed that much new talent apart from Connolly but I never write Dublin off. Armaghs half forward line let them down last year and if they can sort that out they wont be far away. Cork were unlucky to come up against Kerry in the semi final. They could cause a surprise in 2007. Mayo under John o MAHONY............. the problem with Mayo in recent years is that the tank was empty by the time the final came around. Mayo need a handy run to the final and them pull a bit display out of the bag when it really matters.

I dont have a strong feeling yet of how it will pan out so will play keep-ball short passing until the League hits the play-offs.
League: Tyrone, Donegal, Dublin or Westmeath
Leinster: Dublin (just about), or Laois or Westmeath. Kildare, Wexford, Louth, Offaly to do well
Munster: Kerry to pip Cork, probably another replay. Interesting to see what Clare & Limerick do, I think both have outside shock potential
Ulster: Tyrone or Donegal. Down, Fermanagh, Cavan, Armagh to do well
Connaught: Mayo, Galway improved, Ros, Sligo, Leitrim not far away
Semi-Finals: Tyrone, Kerry, Mayo, Dublin (though Armagh or Cork at least could easily knock out one of those 4 in the Quarters or qualifiers)
So as you can see, I'll have fun at the Turf Accountant! Got 11 out of 14 correct in the first round of League matches, including the two draws! ;D

I'll be in the bar of Kavanagh's at the bottom of the Malahide Road after, and before if I'm allowed out

Sorry Rasher, but due to circumstances beyond my control I won’t be able to make it up to see Cork beat ye. Anyway, I’m not the type of person who would be frequenting public houses anyway. I suppose you’re going to Donegal this weekend. Should be an interesting challenge for ye.
