Hi Lads,
Its the other site admin here. Myself and the other admin are interested in hearing your opinions of how the site is performing? And if u can offer any suggestions on how the site may be improved.
Regards
The Administrators

Well done to all involved in this venture.
Hopefully the standard of contributions and vigorous debate will be maintained.
It appears to have got off to a good start.

Seems good so far. I suppose a suggestion would include a link to fixtures both local and county. I know that even if that is done people still won't be able to find the info.
Keep up the good work and thanks.

Admin, ye are doing fine. Just a few more bodies about the place and ye'd be sorted. The colour drives me a bit nuts, but that's probably cos the green and gold puts the fear of god in us Cork people.

Some kind of fixture and results tracker is needed I think for the county league/championship in particular. I think everyone can get the inter-county results handy but its hard to keep track of the senior/junior games when in Dublin. This would definitely increase use of the site! Maybe if people messaged admin every weekend with results and they could post all info together on a separate tread or link.
Good to see the site back!!

Ya that seems like a good idea.
I will talk to the other admin about it and see what we can get up and running. Also toying with the idea of a wap site to view weekend reults and tables via mobile phones. Would there be interest in this?

Whilst acknowledging the service ye are providing and in no way wishing to criticise one issue I can see is the lack of new members to shake things up.
Whereas with the previous site people could "stumble" across it this new site will make it less likely.
Any forum is only as good as its contributors and there are some cracking one's here but how will the new Fattoms and AS Abus find the forum.
I am in now way IT minded and am not sure of the issues involved but would the county board allow a link to this unofficial site to be put on their official site.
Also why didn't the county board allow ye to moderate the old forum?

Hey Rashers good to hear from you what with the new name?? Trying to pull a fast one or what. The artist must never stagnate or stand still...............as for me, I just like a bit of mischief! Or hoppin ball as yous say. As I'm sure you remember, Rashers Tierney has a very dignified opinion of himself.....sure he has to, life hasnt dealt him many good hands, but what he lacks in the finer possessions, he makes up for in his fine sense of dignity..........in anyway, maybe I'll have a complete makeover meself, and turn up as one of the Kerry favourites - Vinny Murphy!

Had given up all hope of forum coming back online but thankfully managed to follow the trail from old site. Better late than never - eh?
Haven't had much time yet to familiarise myself with content and contributors but looks like standards have not dropped.
It would be interesting to see how many of the old members are members of the new site? I know I had my e-mail details available from last forum and an email directing me to this site would have been graciously received.

I got an email that did direct me to this site...great to have a means of getting info when marooned in the capital (no, not Cork).
Rashers, the cricket season is nearly upon us
