Here are a few bits from Paidi o Se in todays Sunday Indo about Clare.
"Working in a county as an outsider can be like buying cows at midnight. Perhaps, this should now be considered in Clare."

maybe he should come back in the morning to look at the cows if he is goingtotake the job. If he doesnt know anything about the players maybe he shouldnt take the jobs outside Kerry.
Is he having a pop at the county board for not providing him with extra eyes and ears to unearth talent

kerrygold........ he had a great crop of players at his disposal......... the second best team that i have ever seen in fact.
i like paidi but....... i wouldnt want him to take over kerry again unless we go another 11 years without a win

I dont wish to sound disrespectful to Clare (but I probably do) but Paidi could be there til the cows come home and he wont win anything with Clare. They are one of the poorest teams in the country. At least with Westmeath Paidi had a crop of young players coming through from U21s

It was Seamus MacGearailt's presence that made Paidi a good coach. With the players at Paidis disposal he should ahve won a couple more all irelands (allthough the football his team played in 2002 was some of the best in our generation)
